How the columns work
Date and Time
Write the day and the time of the reading. Consistent timing — for example, first thing in the morning — makes the numbers easier to compare across days.
Before meal and After meal
Record the value before eating and the value a set time afterwards. Seeing the two side by side shows how a meal affected your level.
Notes
Anything the row does not capture — what you ate, exercise, medication, illness, or how you felt at the time.
