A dated calendar built around the school year
Most schools, colleges and homeschool families do not plan by the January-to-December calendar. They plan by the academic year that opens in late summer. This academic year calendar runs from August through the following July, so a single download covers an entire teaching year on twelve correctly dated month pages. Choose the start year (for example, August 2026) and the calendar fills in every day number under the correct weekday column, accounting for leap years automatically.
Every page is branded and ready to print on A4 or US Letter, so you can pin the months to a wall planner, slot them into a teacher binder, or hand a clean copy to each student.
Twelve correctly dated month pages
Unlike a blank grid you number by hand, this generator prints real dates. August leads the year and July closes it, and each month sits on its own page with a weekday header row, a full 6 x 7 day grid and the right dates already placed. That makes it easy to mark term dates, INSET and staff-development days, assessment weeks, holidays and deadlines without re-counting the calendar every time.
Monday or Sunday week start
Pick the week start that matches your region or planner. A Monday start follows the UK, European and ISO convention; a Sunday start matches the common US layout. The seven weekday header cells relabel and the date numbers shift columns automatically, so the grid always reads correctly.
Add a school or class label
Drop an optional label under each month title, a school name, a class group, a subject or a teacher's name, so printed copies are instantly identifiable in a shared staffroom or a busy household. Leave it blank for a clean, neutral calendar.

Lay out the whole teaching year, mark term boundaries and plan units month by month.

- Add an optional school or class label, or leave it blank.
- Keep the notes strip for jotting reminders, or hide it for a tidy grid.

FAQs
Quick answers
Which months does the academic year cover?
It runs from August of the start year through July of the following year. Twelve month pages in all. Set the start year and the dates fill in automatically, including the correct handling of leap years.
Are the dates filled in, or do I write them myself?
The dates are filled in for you. Each month shows the real day numbers under the correct weekday columns for the year you choose, so there is no hand-numbering.
Can the week start on Sunday instead of Monday?
Yes. Switch the week start between Monday and Sunday; the weekday headers and the date positions both adjust so the grid reads correctly for your region.
What paper size does it print on?
Each month page prints on A4 or US Letter. Choose your paper size before downloading, and print at 100% scale for the cleanest result.
