Print Your Own Storage Bin and Organization Labels
Tidy spaces start with clear labels. This free printable storage bin and organization labels generator turns a simple list into a full page of matching, ready-to-cut labels for bins, baskets, shelves, drawers, toy boxes and pantry jars. Type one label per line, choose how big you want them, and download a print-ready PDF in A4 or US Letter. No design software, no buying packs of pre-printed labels — just type, print and cut.
Because every label comes out of the same branded template, the type, borders and spacing match the rest of the printable paper library, so your whole house or classroom gets a consistent, professional look.
Type a list, get a matching set
Enter your labels one per line. Want a contents or description line under the title? Add it after a pipe character: TOYS | cars and figures. The generator parses each line into a bold title and an optional smaller subtitle, then tiles them across the page in a neat grid.
- Title — the big, bold word or phrase on each label (TOYS, BOOKS, SPICES, WINTER).
- Contents line — optional smaller text after a pipe, listing what is inside ("pens, paper, glue").
- As many labels as you need — extra labels flow onto additional pages automatically.
Three sizes for every container
Pick the size that fits your bins and shelves:
- Large — three big labels per page, perfect for large toy bins, laundry baskets and storage tubs you read from across the room.
- Medium — eight per page, the all-rounder for shelf boxes, drawers and cabinet baskets.
- Small — eighteen per page, ideal for pantry jars, craft drawers, spice tins and small parts bins.
All three sizes tile cleanly with optional dashed cut guides running through the gutters, so cutting them apart with scissors or a guillotine is quick and straight.
What you can customise
- Label list: one label per line, with an optional "Title | contents" split.
- Size preset: large (3), medium (8) or small (18) labels per page.
- Text alignment: centred or left.
- Coloured heading band: on for a tinted title bar, off for a clean all-white label.
- Cut guides: dashed lines between cells, on or off.
- Paper size: A4 or US Letter.
Worked example
Maria is reorganising her children's playroom. She types TOYS, LEGO | building bricks, BOOKS, ART SUPPLIES | pens, paper, glue, GAMES and CRAFTS, one per line, picks the medium size and leaves the coloured band and cut guides on. She prints the page on light card, cuts along the dashed lines, and tapes one to the front of each bin. Fifteen minutes later every container has a clear, matching label and the children can find — and put away — their things on their own.

Methodology — what the template draws
The page is divided into an even grid of cells sized by your chosen preset, with small gutters between them. Each label gets a bordered rectangle, an optional tinted heading band, a large bold title that auto-shrinks to fit the label width, and — when you add a pipe — a smaller contents line beneath. When cut guides are enabled, faint dashed lines run down and across the gutters so you can cut straight without a ruler. Everything is produced by the shared branded PDF template, so the header, footer and watermark match every other PrintablesWorld printable. Print at 100% scale for accurate label sizes.
Printing tips
- Print on light card stock so labels stay flat and survive handling.
- For a peel-and-stick set, print on full-sheet adhesive label paper and cut with the dashed guides.
- Cover paper labels with clear tape or a laminating pouch to make them wipe-clean and water-resistant.
- Keep printer scaling at 100% ("Actual size") so the grid stays aligned with your cuts.
- Use a craft knife and metal ruler against the dashed guides for perfectly straight edges.
Designed for A4 and US Letter printing
The grid reflows to fill either A4 or US Letter cleanly, so labels stay evenly sized whichever paper you use. Choose the paper size that matches your printer's default tray for the best results.

FAQs
Quick answers
How do I add a contents line under the label title?
Type the title, a pipe character, then the contents on the same line — for example "ART SUPPLIES | pens, paper, glue". The title prints big and bold and the contents print smaller underneath. Leave out the pipe for a title-only label.
How many labels fit on a page?
It depends on the size you pick: large gives 3 per page, medium gives 8, and small gives 18. If you type more labels than fit, they flow onto extra pages automatically.
Can I print these on sticker or adhesive sheets?
Yes. Print on full-sheet adhesive label paper, then cut along the dashed guides. For paper or card labels, attach with tape or a glue stick, and cover with clear tape to make them wipe-clean.
Can I cut the labels out neatly?
Yes. Turn on dashed cut guides and faint lines run through the gutters between cells so you can cut straight with scissors or a craft knife. Keep printer scaling at 100% so the grid lines up with your cuts.
