An egg that looks like an egg
Most egg templates are ovals. A real egg is narrower at one end, and the difference is what makes a cut-out read as an egg rather than a balloon. These are drawn from a curve that pinches the top by about a fifth, then printed at the size you choose: one giant egg for a wall, two for a colouring page, four or six for a set of decorations.
Patterns
Plain eggs are for colouring. The patterned ones have their decoration already drawn and clipped inside the shell so the lines stop exactly at the edge: horizontal stripes, a zigzag, a field of dots, or chevrons. Mixed cycles through the four so a page of six is six different eggs. Patterns print as outlines to colour in; nothing is filled.
Cutting and naming
Tick Thick outline for a heavier line that is easier to follow with scissors. The name line under each egg (This egg belongs to) suits a class set going on a display board or into an egg hunt basket.
What to do with them
Colour and cut for a window display. Print on card, cut out and punch a hole at the top for a hanging decoration. Print the one-per-page egg on coloured paper as a background for a collage. Print the six-per-page set for a matching game: colour pairs the same and turn them face down.

How many eggs per page?
One, two, four or six. One fills the page; six are about 8 cm tall on A4.
Which patterns are there?

Are the patterns coloured in?
No. They print as outlines so children colour them. Choose Plain if you want an empty egg.
Can I print them on card?
Yes, card cuts cleaner and stands up to being hung. Print at 100%.
