Paid fortnightly, billed monthly
A monthly budget assumes money arrives once a month. For anybody paid weekly, fortnightly or irregularly it does not, and the gap between those two rhythms is where the overdraft lives.
Budget to the next payday, not to the month
The question this sheet answers is narrower and more useful: what has to be paid before I am paid again, and what is left after it. Fill one in per pay period and the rent showing up in one of them and not the other stops being a surprise.
Same engine, different question
This is the monthly budget planner's sheet with the period label and the row count set for a pay cycle. If a calendar month is genuinely how you are paid, the monthly version is the better fit and there is no advantage to this one.
FAQs
Quick answers
Is the paycheck budget free?
Yes — set it up, download the PDF and print as many as you need. No account and no sign-up.
A4 or US Letter?
Both. Choose the paper size before downloading and the sheet is laid out to fit it.
Can I put my own business name on it?
Yes. The heading and the fields at the top are editable, and the PDF carries only a faint PrintablesWorld mark.
Can I print several copies at once?
Yes — where the sheet supports it, set the page count before you download rather than printing the same PDF repeatedly.
