Worked example

Suppose you pick Mixed mode with 8 questions and set Output format to "All three". One question might be: "A fair spinner has 8 equal sectors numbered 1 to 8. What is the probability of spinning an even number?" The answer is 4/8 simplified to 1/2, which is 0.5 and 50%.

Another question might be: "A standard die is rolled once. What is the probability of rolling a number greater than 4?" The answer is 2/6 simplified to 1/3, which is 0.333 and 33.3%.

Methodology

The engine selects a scenario (coin, die, or spinner), builds the sample space, and generates a question whose favourable outcomes are well-defined. The probability is computed as favourable / total, reduced using the greatest common divisor, and converted to decimal and percent form where requested. Answers are written in simplest form so learners see the importance of reducing.
