Plan the whole of Christmas on one printable page

The Christmas planner and gift tracker is a single-page printable that pulls together the three lists every festive season runs on: who you are buying gifts for, who you are sending cards to, and the long tail of jobs that need doing before the big day. The gift tracker is a tidy table — for each person you write the gift idea, a budget, and tick the box once it is bought and wrapped. A Christmas card list and a festive to-do checklist sit alongside.

Print it in late November, stick it inside a kitchen folder or on the fridge, and tick things off as December marches on.

Supports GBP (£), USD ($) and EUR (€) in the budget column, and prints cleanly in A4 or US Letter.

Why use a printable Christmas planner?

The run-up to Christmas is where good intentions go to die. A printed planner keeps the whole operation visible without opening an app. Use it for:

  • tracking gift spending so the festive overspend does not creep up on you
  • making sure nobody on the list gets forgotten
  • seeing at a glance which gifts are still to buy
  • keeping the card list in one place year on year
  • breaking the festive workload into a checklist you can actually clear
  • sharing the plan with a partner so the load is split

Ticking off a bought gift or a posted card by hand gives a small, satisfying sense of progress that a phone reminder never quite manages.

What you can customise

  • Page title: default "Christmas Planner & Gift Tracker" or rename it for your household
  • Gift rows: 8 to 16 — one row per person you are buying for
  • Card list rows: 6 to 12 ruled lines with a sent tick box
  • To-do rows: 6 to 12 festive jobs with a done tick box
  • Currency: GBP (£), USD ($) or EUR (€) in the budget column header
  • Name & date line in the header, on or off
  • Paper size: A4 or US Letter PDF

Notes and limitations

  • This is a printable worksheet, not a fillable PDF. You hand-write the gifts, cards and jobs, which keeps it universal and stores no personal data anywhere.
  • The gift idea column is generous; keep notes short, like "book — wishlist" or "voucher".
  • If you are buying for more than sixteen people, print a second copy.
  • Print at 100% scale so the tick boxes stay square.

How the sections work

Gift tracker

One row per person. Write who the gift is for, the idea you have settled on, the budget you are setting, and tick the box once it is bought. Keeping the budget visible stops the totals quietly climbing.

Christmas card list

A ruled list with a tick box for each name. Tick once the card is written and posted — no more wondering whether you sent one to the neighbours.

Festive to-do

A checklist for everything that is not a gift: order the turkey, wrap presents, put the tree up, plan the menu, post the cards. Tick as you clear each one.

How to use the tool

  6. Print at 100% scale and fill it in with a pen.

FAQs

Quick answers

How many people can I track gifts for?

Choose between 8 and 16 gift rows. If you are buying for more, simply print a second copy.

Does the gift tracker total my spending?

No — it is a printable worksheet, so you add up the budget column with a pen. Keeping the figures visible helps you stay on budget.

Which currencies are supported?

GBP (£), USD ($) and EUR (€). The chosen symbol appears in the budget column header.

Can I print it more than once?

Yes. Print as many copies as you like — one for gifts, one for cards, or a fresh sheet each year.
